Maybe you are like me, and you had never heard of the South Sudanese refugee crisis, the largest refugee crisis in Africa and third largest globally. South Sudan became a country in 2011, making it the youngest country in the world. Currently, there are 4.3 million South Sudanese people displaced from their homes, either as refugees, IDPs (internally displaced people), or asylum seekers. 2.3 million of those people are refugees and many live in refugee camps. And Uganda hosts 40% of those 2.3 million (over 900,000).
