Synopsis
In Uganda's Pagirinya 1 Refugee Camp, Moses, a South Sudanese refugee, faces the challenge of creating sustainable solutions for himself and his community as the rest of the world has forgotten they exist. The camp, plagued by food insecurity, poor access to education, and tribal tensions, is a place of both struggle and resilience. As a leader, Moses provides hope and solutions for his community, despite the ever-present uncertainty about whether they will return home. Alongside his brother-in-law, Santos, who has also taken in unaccompanied minors, Moses works to unify different tribes, educate children, and develop sustainable projects like greenhouses and vocational training. The film captures the daily realities and struggles, depicting resilience and hope.
